Reflection Site

The Mallacoota District Reconciliation Group recently held a dediction ceremony for the official unveiling of the Reflection Site as a means of respect and recognition for Aboriginal custodianship . A stone monument complete with plaque and mosaic has been erected at the site at the end of Mortimer Street. This vantage point affords spectacular views of the entrance and lower lake, the Howe Ranges and Gabo Island as shown in the photo.

After the Storms

After the Storms

Well, it's been a while between blogs. I've been out and about and taken a few photos and uploaded them onto flickr. This photo is one taken at Bastion Point recently after we had some big seas. The sea was very foamy and looked like somebody had emptied a container of detergent into it and there was a lot of stuff washed up onto the beach, good for beachcombing.

Not a Mallacoota landmark

Welcome

To my first blog page and posting. I'm not sure what this blog will consist off - just 'stuff' I suppose. It will be interesting to see how the blog evolves over time.
